What we collect, what we do with it, and who else sees it.

This covers build.scalehomes.co and the calls, texts and emails that follow when you contact us through it. We use your details to work on your project, and your phone number stays with us.
Who we are
build.scalehomes.co is run by Scale Homes Realty Team LLC ("Scale Homes", "we"), based in Plano, Texas.

What we collect
What you type into a form on this site:
- your name, phone number and email address
- your ZIP code, when the form asks for it
- what you tell us about the project: the kind of project and anything you write in the message box
Photos, drawings and measurements you upload or text to us.
If you agree to calls and texts, a record of that agreement: the exact wording you were shown, the time you submitted the form, your IP address and your browser. We keep it as proof of what you agreed to.
What you say to us by phone, text or email. If we record a call, we tell you at the start of it.
How you use the site: pages viewed, the site that sent you here, your device and browser, and an approximate location worked out from your IP address. Google Analytics collects this for us using cookies. We don't send it your name, phone number or email.
How we use it
- to answer your quote request and prepare your design and price
- to schedule design consultations, measurements and installs
- to send project updates and links to your designs by call, text or email
- to keep a record of what we quoted, what you agreed to and what we did
- to see which pages people use, so we can fix what isn't working
We don't sell your personal information.
Text messages
If you agree to texts, we text you about your project: design consultations, quotes, links to your designs, and appointment coordination. Message frequency varies. Msg & data rates may apply.
Reply STOP to any text to opt out. We'll send one message confirming it and nothing after that. Reply HELP for help, or contact us using the details at the bottom of this page. The full text-message program is in our Terms.
How long we keep it
While we're working with you, and afterwards for as long as we need it for warranty work, tax records and legal obligations. Records of consent and of opt-outs are kept for as long as we might need to show what you agreed to or asked us to stop.
Your choices
- Texts. Reply STOP to any text. Reply START if you change your mind.
- Calls and email. Tell us on the call, reply to the email, or contact us below, and we'll stop.
- Seeing, correcting or deleting your information. Email service@scalehomes.co or call (469) 210-8283. We'll check it's you, make the change and tell you what we've done. We keep what the law requires us to keep, such as tax records and the record that you asked us to stop texting.
- Cookies. You can block or clear them in your browser settings. Google offers a browser add-on that turns off Google Analytics.
Keeping it safe
Your information is kept in systems that need a login, and access is limited to the people who need it for your project. No system is perfectly secure.
Children
This site is for adults planning work on a home. We don't knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.
Changes
If we change this policy, we'll post the new version here and update the effective date at the top.
